Americans Without Internet Access Don’t Want it

What is it about the sentence “I don’t care about the Internet,” that some people just don’t get? Today TechNewsWorld published an article about a new study showing that:

“Almost half of households without Web access don’t care that they can’t surf. In fact, 44 percent of the nation’s 31 million offline households say the Internet has nothing for them.”

This attitude tends to scare those who use the Internet every day, but that’s really too bad. It is a free country after all, right? Maybe those non-Internet users have better things to do than surf out the latest news on Anna Nicole Smith. Books, for instance, still exist and then there’s exercise as well — something most Americans could use more of.
